No. We buy or borrow the products we test and publish verdicts regardless of what a brand would prefer. If we ever accept a loaner unit it is disclosed at the top of the review, and it never changes the score.
Why do your puff counts differ from the box?
Claimed puff counts are measured under ideal lab conditions: long, gentle draws at room temperature. We test the way people actually vape, which usually lands 15–30% below the claim. Both numbers appear in every review.
Which nicotine strength should I start with?
It depends on the device and how much you smoked. As a rule of thumb, smaller mouth-to-lung pods suit higher strengths and big-cloud devices suit lower ones. Our beginner guide walks through the trade-offs in detail.
